This is a slightly touched up piece from my portfollio last year. It was put together in Adobe CS3. Planet/nebula textures created using Filter Forge and my other 3d software. Brushed textures for nebula lightening effect.

when i look at this i feel like i'm traveling into the endless, unknown depths of space. to imagine we aren't even a fraction of the universe, and to comprehend how many space catastrophes happen that we don't even know about or will never learn about, simply because its distance from us is incomprehendable . there's a whole world out there that we can't and will never get to experience or understand. to think there are endless amounts of activity taking place in space, on a grand scale that we will never witness, or to just imagine and comprehend something that is 'endless'. it's pretty mysterious when you think about it.

You said it best my friend! That is why I am a lover of space and all of it's unique incomprehensible beauty. The mystery of space continues past all we as man/woman can ever comprehend or experience. Even past our miniscule peek through Hubble! Anything I create is no more then a primitive mockery of the universe itself. Thank you my friend for the thoughful and philosophical comment :-)

Nice scale and composition. I like the lighting.

Psst... small typo on the image frame: 'Anomly' > 'Anomaly'!

Thanks! :-D I'll have to fix that (embarrassing typos) ;-) thanks for letting me know about it.

Yeah, it happened to me so many times (and still does) that I usually quadrouple check everything now. Way to go paranoia! ;)
